About this Position

Under the direction of the I.T. Helpdesk/Desktop manager, the Desktop Support Specialist provides efficient and flexible desktop support services with a strong customer service commitment. The Desktop Support Specialist will provide second level of support to issues reported as well as desktop administration of computer systems and related peripherals, classroom technology support, and will provide Help Desk customer support. Will be working in a clinical and academic environments.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vocational/Technical
  • At least two years computer support experience.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

  • At least two years computer support experience or 3 years computer support combined with education

  • Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of:
    • Microsoft Windows 10 and 7
    • Microsoft Office Suite 2013+

    • Microsoft Operating Systems
    • Microsoft Active Directory
    • Microsoft Office 2013 & 2016
    • Microsoft Outlook
