$65,000 - $92,300 Salary

About this Position

The Manager provides leadership for Departmental Support services, ensuring alignment with OSU/A&M System goals and compliance requirements. This role is responsible for delivering value, driving innovation, and building accountability and ownership within their team.

This position leads the departmental support organization, overseeing all aspects of endpoint management, customer relationship management, and focused support. The Manager ensures the delivery of high-quality, customer-centered digital services, drives strategic initiatives, and serves as the primary point of contact for supported departments. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate across multiple EIT groups and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Six years of related work experience, including experience in a supervisory role.

    Post-secondary education may be substituted for years of experience.

  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

    Must possess a valid driver’s license.

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Ability to create processes, procedures, and analyze performance metrics.

    Experience providing on-site technical support to end users.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in a Technology-related field
  • Eight years of related work experience, including experience in a supervisory role.

  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

    ITIL, PMP, HDI or related.

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Experience managing a technology team in a higher education environment.
