About this Position

Coordinates proper storage and rotation of food and supply orders for all areas of North Dining/The Market. Supports dish room daily. Maintains good safety, sanitation skills, organizational skills, and work area maintenance in the receiving and storage and any other requested area to further the image of North/ Market and practice good personal hygiene. Maintain inventory rotation; deliver and pick up inventory as needed by North/ Market. All other duties as assigned. Work in other areas with other duties as necessary based on The Market goals and priorities. This is a full-time position that will not have scheduled hours during the month of mid-May to mid-August, unless work is available.

Required Qualifications

  • No Degree (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  •  
  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

    Have before hire and maintain after hire, a valid driver's license. A valid driver's license must be maintained for the operation of an OSU vehicle, which is required on the performance of job duties as assigned.

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

    Able to follow written and oral instructions. Able to organize work and for the most efficient outcome. Operate appropriate equipment for position. Know and practice basic safety and sanitation standards. Neat & clean appearance. Good manual dexterity. Able to stand, walk and work on feet for eight hours daily

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School/GED
  • Experience in customer services and/or working with an inventory system, sanitation and hygiene.
