About this Position
Cleaning is defined to include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, hard floor maintenance, dusting, waxing, polishing office, brass, and office furniture, woodwork and empty trash. Clean outside of the Student Union to include, balconies, loading docks, entrances, and parking garage. Clean assigned areas to include offices, meeting rooms, public areas, hallways, stairs, escalators, and retail shops.
Utilizes assigned equipment and fills out work order forms detailing equipment and any other problems and conditions requiring maintenance.
Maintains restrooms in clean, operating and sanitary condition.
cleaning sinks, urinals, stools, mirrors, columns and walls
replaces deodorizes, toilet tissue, hand towels, hand lotion, and hand soap
Perform related duties as assigned and as the need arises.
This position is an overnight shift.
Ability to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 50 lbs., kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. This position is heavy in manual labor and requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and in excess of 50 pounds occasionally.

High school diploma/GED and/or one year of related work experience
Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
Knowledge in general housekeeping, floor cleaning, tile/carpet upkeep (to include spot removal) and wood surface cleaning
