The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the overall coordination and daily operations of the University Store's warehouse to include managing the receipt of approximately $10 million in inbound merchandise annually, ensuring accurate check-in procedures and working with the various store departments regarding merchandise distribution. This position will be tasked with ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations with a strong emphasis on accuracy, safety and communication. Key responsibilities will include overseeing the receiving processes; maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment; and supervising both full-time and part-time warehouse staff. Extended hours may be required during peak times of the year including start of each semester and athletic gamedays. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with extended periods of physical activity is required.
Two years experience in a college bookstore or large retail store with prior warehouse and/or supervisory experience strongly preferred. Post-secondary education may be substituted for years of experience
Valid driver's license
