About this Position

This position is on OSUCOM-CN campus in Tahlequah, OK 

Responsible for providing faculty, staff and student support in the areas of instructional design, instructional technology and distributed learning at the OSUCOM-CN campus in Tahlequah, OK. Provides instructional and program design expertise for the development and support of academic courses and projects in a distributed learning format. Will assist faculty, staff, and administrators in the design of instructional materials, development of learning resources, and retooling of courses and course segments to alternative delivery methods including distance learning strategies. Provide coordination, professional development, and support for a variety of tools/technologies needed for the development of in-house, blended, and online instructional activities. This position plays a pivotal role in consulting with faculty regarding the use of technologies and best practices in instruction.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's

    Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Educational Technology or closely related field

    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
    • Two (2) years of related professional experience in instructional design or educational technologies.
    • Must have experience assisting faculty, preferably in higher education, with instructional design principles, instructional technology applications, or similar.
    • Must have the ability to learn (as well as teach others to use) new multimedia or digital technology tools. 

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

Strong interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, multi-tasker with excellent people skills. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in producing written materials for educational content and/or training and technical instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's
    • Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in Higher Ed and/or graduate level medical education preferred
