About this Position
This position will work with Spears School of Business undergraduate students on all aspects of career coaching including, but not limited to major and career exploration, internship/job searches and overall career readiness. Additionally, this position will work with the Eastin Center for Career Readiness team to design and deliver effective, personalized, and innovative career development experiences and provide strategic support to the Career Readiness programs, contributing to measurable and successful outcomes. This position will collaborate with other groups in the Spears School of Business to assist with recruiting and retention where it relates to career readiness, and with OSU Career Services and other College Career Consultants.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Business Administration, Counseling, or related field (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
1 year of related experience.
Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge: Excellent communications skills. Strong service orientation and ability to multi-task. Ability to work with a diverse group of faculty, staff, students, and the general public. Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new skills and programs as required to meet the needs of Career Services and the Spears School of Business.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Business Administration, College Student Development, Higher Education, Counseling or related degree
3 years related work experience
