About this Position

This position is a 50/50 partnership between OSU Career Services office and OSU Athletics, with morning hours residing within the Student-Athlete Development and Impact center and afternoons within the Career Services office in the Student Union. Goals for the respective units will be set in collaboration between Career Services leadership and the Associate Athletic Director for student-athletes. This position is responsible for engaging students and alumni in career readiness activities such as individual consultations and career related workshops, creating career resources, and developing strategic campus and community partners to support career development of student-athletes and the general OSU student population. Business hours for this position are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, along with occasional evening or morning and weekend work for career programming. Must be willing and able to manage demands of a split role between OSU Athletics and the OSU Career Services office.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • One year experience working with students.
  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses: GCDF, CSP or other related Career Services certifications or ability to earn within the first year of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's
  • Three years of related experience.
  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses: GCDF, CSP or other related Career Services certifications or ability to earn within the first year of employment.
