Position: The Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University invites applications for two tenure-track positions in marketing at the rank of Assistant Professor. New assistant professors are given minimal service assignments, reduced teaching loads, and generous summer support to allow them to develop their research programs. Salary is competitive for a comprehensive research university and contingent on available funding.
Qualifications: Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in marketing or a related field.
The Department: The School of Marketing and International Business consists of 21 faculty positions and provides academic leadership and instruction in both marketing and international business. We serve more than 1,600 undergraduate majors—marketing being the largest major at the university—and our tenure-track faculty teach across all levels, including undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs.
Research is highly valued and expected of all tenure-track faculty members. We aim to publish in the leading marketing journals, as well as in high-quality specialty journals and top-tier journals in related disciplines. Senior faculty are committed to supporting the success of junior colleagues through collaboration and mentorship.
