Be an intricate part of a team that serves individuals with disabilities across the state of Oklahoma. Responsible for providing quality customer service, information, and assistance to individuals via mail, email, phone, fax, and in person on behalf of the ABLE Tech Reutilization program. This position is the front face of the program that engages professionally with individuals, professionals, and family members. Oversees all financial activities, including accounts payable, travel reimbursements for staff, ordering supplies, and processing invoices for the office, per OSU guidelines. Processes incoming client applications via phone, fax, and email, ensuring that all components are completed appropriately and provide resources, guidance and assistance for missing information and required documentation in accordance with Oklahoma Healthcare Authority guidelines. Maintains and provides public or private resources to distribute to applicants related to durable medical equipment or other resources as needed. Assists with data entry and implementing strategies to ensure program goals and AT Act requirements are being met. Maintains First Aid and CPR Certification with 10 hours of continuing education units per year.
One year of clerical/customer service experience. Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.
Demonstrates skills in administrative support. Strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication. Extensive computer skills with experience in Microsoft products/platforms, with advanced skill set in excel spreadsheets. Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload for completion of tasks in a timely manner. Ability to work at high level of autonomy with little or no supervision, with the ability to serve the public and referral sources. Has familiarity with the use of databases and on-line systems. Has an understanding and knowledge related to people with disabilities, and in particular familiar with assistive technology and durable medical equipment.
