About this Position

Cleaning of all athletic facilities, including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning brass, cleaning windows, floor maintenance, carpet maintenance, cleaning courts, etc. Maintenance of custodial supply inventory. Venue preparation for events.  This position is temporary not to exceed 1040 hours per year.  

Required Qualifications

  • No Degree (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • 0-6 months general custodial experience; knowledge of custodial equipment and supplies. Must be able to read and understand SDS sheets and department directives.

  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

    Must maintain valid Oklahoma Driver’s License

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Ability to handle multiple work priorities simultaneously; ability to work with minimal supervision in a highly self-motivated manner; general knowledge of custodial equipment and supplies; ability to lift and move 50 pounds, if necessary. Adaptable to ever-changing technological needs of the department, and changes in procedures, environment, and responsibilities. Physical ability to ascend/descend a ladder, or kneel, crawl into high, low, or tight spaces to clean hard to reach areas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School/GED
