About this Position

Assists physicians and staff in the delivery of patient care as directed following established methods, procedures and standards. Under minimal supervision, utilizes a systematic approach to patient care incorporating the following: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Answers phones and schedules surgeries/tests. Assists the physician in surgical in-office procedures. Call patients back with their test results and follow-up appointments.  

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's

    Associate's Degree in Nursing

    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  •  
  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

    Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Oklahoma

    Current CPR Certification

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Knowledge of medical terminology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy required. Ability to learn new processes, tools, and equipment as required. Flexibility to work in various areas of surgical clinics.  

Preferred Qualifications

  •  
  • Prior experience in plastic surgery/breast surgery/gastroenterology and general surgery.
