ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF FINANCE/REAL ESTATE
The Department of Finance within the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University (OSU) invites applications for a tenure-track Faculty Position in Real Estate at the Assistant Professor level. The position is scheduled to start in August 2027.
We are seeking candidates who can contribute to the excellence of our Real Estate and Property Management program. We expect that the individual in this position will foster effective, civil, and respectful working relationships with the Oklahoma State University campus community.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
We will consider candidates with Ph.Ds. in Real Estate or Finance with research and teaching experience in Real Estate. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to add value to the department’s research mission by conducting high-quality Real Estate research, as well as educational programs through excellent teaching. The teaching load will consist of two Real Estate courses per semester at the undergraduate level. Potential courses could be Real Estate Finance, Real Estate Investment, and Real Estate Valuation. Teaching responsibilities are primarily in Stillwater but may occasionally be at the OSU-Tulsa campus.
Candidates must possess an earned doctorate by August 1, 2027. Participation in service activities to the academic and business communities is expected and rewarded. We offer a competitive compensation package and excellent research support, including access to major finance databases and some specialized data sources, a minimum of 20 hours/week of graduate assistant support, and a research-active department with a terrific seminar series.

SALARY:
