About this Position
The College of Veterinary Medicine Ranch of Oklahoma State University is seeking a new member to their administrative team. This new member will be responsible for the management of the Ranch administrative tasks, including, but not limited to:
Supervision of administrative staff while ensuring proper customer service techniques are being used and overall client satisfaction is high; oversight of the medical records system (EzyVet) ensuring admission/dismissal processes are correct, including accuracy of charges for services and verifying patient/client information is obtained and updated; discussing payment policy with clients and ensuring payment for services is collected at the time of dismissal; working in collaboration with college administration (CVM Business Office) to ensure procedures and processes are followed and adjusted as necessary. Also responsible for accounting functions of the Ranch including reviewing daily financial reports related to medical records, daily deposits, and CVM financial accounting system. Coordinates with Ranch Manager needs for supplies and equipment and use the OSU procurement systems to place orders ensuring that OSU policy and procedures are followed.
The OSU College of Veterinary Medicine Ranch is an off-site extension of the OSU Veterinary Medical Hospital specializing in equine and bovine breeding and reproduction services. The ranch is equipped to handle all aspects of large animal reproduction, both routine breeding work and more advanced techniques.

Must have excellent communication skills in order to interact professionally with clients, faculty, staff, students, and all levels of administration. Must be self-motivated and well organized. Must be capable of independent judgment with decision making authority while performing with minimal oversight. Must maintain confidentiality and sensitivity when handling client information. MS Office experience required.
