About this Position
This position serves the College of Arts and Sciences at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. The College of Arts and Sciences is student centered and values the significance of academic advising in student success. Academic advisors guide students through their academic career and serve as a referral agent for students’ other needs, providing holistic guidance to students as they progress through their college career. Advise students in the Department Computer Science, including majors Computer Science and Applied Computer Programming.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
The following are the minimum requirements and salary ranges per title:
Academic Advisor I (non-exempt): Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience, $18.27-$21.15/hr.
Academic Advisor II (non-exempt): Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of experience, $21.19-22.60/hr.
Academic Advisor III (non-exempt or exempt): Master's degree and 1-3 years experience, $21.15-$23.56/hr. ($44,000-$49,000/annually).
Senior Academic Advisor I (exempt): Master's degree, 3 years of experience, $47,000-$51,000/annually.
Senior Academic Advisor II (exempt): Master's degree, 5 years of experience, $49,000-$55,000/annually.
