About this Position

Under the direction of the I.T. Helpdesk/Desktop manager, the Desktop Support Specialist provides efficient and flexible desktop support services with a strong customer service commitment.  The Desktop Support Specialist will provide a second level of support for issues reported, as well as desktop administration of computer systems and related peripherals, classroom technology support, and provide the Help Desk with customer support.  Will be working in a clinical and academic environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED
  • Two (2) years combined computer support related education and/or experience

  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
    • N/A
  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
    • Microsoft Windows 10 and 7
    • Microsoft Office Suite 2013+
    • Microsoft Active Directory
    • Mac OS, IOS and android devices
    • Desktop computer hardware
    • Network printer operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two (2) to Three (3) years computer support combined with education
  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
    • N/A
  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
