About this Position

The CRM Specialist will work within Oklahoma State University’s Student Success CRM team to accomplish the retention and persistence goals of the institution.
 
This position will develop and implement various strategies to maximize the use of the Slate CRM platform in a multi-platform environment in order to enhance the student success operations for units across campus. The CRM Specialist is responsible for the daily operations of the student success Slate CRM including system maintenance, query development, process automation, data integrity, system security, integration with other campus systems, and the implementation of new Slate features. This position will develop and manage a comprehensive student advising process within Slate as well as identify and create segmented populations to allow various campus partners to personalize communication with current students. This position will also build and analyze dashboard reports through Slate and other platforms in collaboration with Institutional Research and Analytics (IRA). In order to succeed in this role, excellent communication and organizational skills are required to assist university staff with assisting continuing students.
 
The individual should be highly organized and have the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time. Additionally, this individual must be adept at working with individuals at various roles and leadership levels, collecting feedback, and improving communications based on information received. The individual should demonstrate self-direction, creativity, and strategic thinking in finding new opportunities to serve our students at Oklahoma State University.
 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Demonstrated experience with software application development and/or database management. 

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Efficiently utilize software applications to support the planning, development, and coordination of university efforts to support and retain students. Working knowledge of data management concepts including relational databases, data security, data governance and system maintenance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to represent the department with external constituents. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities at one time; assist with the planning, installation and operation, and effective utilization of multiple software platforms. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member, adaptable and proactive in problem identification and resolution, critical thinking and acceptance of improved technology and data collection, measurement and presentation in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's

    Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field of study

  • Two years of related experience of software application development and/or database management.
