About this Position
This position will assist with all maintenance phases and operations at Lake Carl Blackwell grounds. Responsible for safely operating power equipment, including lawn mower, weed eater, small tractor, chainsaw, or hand equipment. Required to assist with carpentry, cleaning of toilets, minor construction, painting, plumbing tasks, and any task necessary to maintain the safety and appearance of the grounds at Lake Carl Blackwell. This position requires working outdoors and tolerating extreme temperatures and weather. The position also requires frequent, strenuous physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, carrying, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
High School/GED
One year of grounds/farm work experience.
Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses: Valid driver license is required
Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge: Ability to follow directions and use appropriate safety measures for tools and equipment used to perform tasks. Use ground maintenance tools effectively and work efficiently independently or as a team. This position requires working outdoors and tolerating extreme temperatures and weather.
Preferred Qualifications
High School/GED
One year of grounds/farm work experience preferred.
