About this Position

This position provides program and administrative support to the managers and coordinators in the Center for the Future of Work (CFW). CFW coordinates conferences, training programs and seminars throughout the State of Oklahoma. Key duties include: organizing conference and program details, handling registrations, processing payments and arranging logistic details before, during and after programs. Maintenance of participant and client database information and assisting with client inquiries are critical components to of the position. Ability to lift 25 lbs. Lifting of program materials, AV and refreshments is necessary at times.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Four years related experience. Post- Secondary education may be substituted for experience.

    Candidate should have demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleagues, faculty, training professionals and business clients.

  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

    Valid Driver's License required.

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Should possess excellent organizational and time management skills. Working knowledge of database entry and reporting. Must be able to communicate effectively to constituents that are internal and external to OSU. Exhibit autonomy in handling problems without close supervision. Adept at managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three to five years program, event planning, customer service or administrative experience.
