$16.00 - $18.00, Hourly

About this Position

Responsible to perform duties related to checking-in/out patients, scheduling patient appointments, call confirmations, verifying insurance while maintaining accuracy and compliance with departmental policies and State/Federal regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

  • Valid Driver's License

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly the MS Office Suite, with a focus on Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Skilled in typing and data entry, with a solid understanding of medical terminology.
  • Capable of managing phone communications while maintaining attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Strong customer service abilities, demonstrating professionalism and effective interpersonal communication with patients and medical personnel.
  • Experienced in collaborative team settings, knowledgeable about HIPAA regulations, and adaptable to new processes as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vocational/Technical
    • Some college or technical school in a related field or six months related job experience.
    • Experience with EMR system (EPIC).
