About this Position
Assists physicians and staff in the delivery of patient care as directed following established methods, procedures and standards. Under minimal supervision, utilizes a systematic approach to patient care incorporating the following assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Required Qualifications
Vocational/Technical, Medical Assistant (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
2 years college or technical training.
Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License.
Current Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant.
Current CPR certification

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
Skilled in-patient care and medical procedures, including medication administration and triage for pediatric patients Skill in delivery of patient care and procedures.
Knowledge of medical terminology is essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital for patient interaction.
Proficient in computer use and quick to learn new tools and processes.
Computer literacy required.
Ability to learn new processes, tools, and equipment as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Six (6) months of pediatric experience preferred unless internship completed in the OSU Pediatric clinic.
Referral/Authorization experience
