About this Position

This is a grant funded position.

The MA Clinical Care Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring high quality and continuity in the provision of comprehensive primary medical care services. The MA Clinical Care Coordinator is utilized in performing typical front and back office clinical functions. The MA Clinical Care Coordinator is under the overall on-site supervision of the Nurse Manager/Practice Administrator.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Previous front and back-office experience in a health clinic setting or equivalent experience
    required

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

  • RMA or CMA certification. Current CPR card required.    

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of all areas related to clinic workflow.
  • Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task while providing good patient care.
  • Good computer skills and ability to learn new computer systems as needed.
  • Primary skills include verbal and written communication with patients to promote continuity of care and follow-ups.
  • Daily retrieval and scanning/filing of clinical encounter forms and reports for use by clinic staff during
    patient care activities
