About this Position

The Manager, Occupational & Student Health & Clinical Standards provides clinical leadership and oversight for occupational and student health programs while leading the development, implementation, and standardization of clinical practices across the health system.

This role works collaboratively with compliance, safety, and operational leadership to promote the health and safety of employees and students through disease and injury prevention, exposure management, and consistent application of evidence-based clinical standards. The position serves as the clinical subject matter expert for workforce and student health and supports system-wide regulatory readiness and clinical quality initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science
    • In Nursing (BSN) or related field
  • 3–5 years clinical experience in occupational or student health or a supervisory nursing role in a health system

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Professional Nurse in the State of OK or eligible to become licensed prior to initiation of duties.  
  • Valid Driver License 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Certified as an Instructor or shortly upon hire)

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

  • Excellent assessment, computer, communication, writing, training, and organizational skills.  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's
    • Nurse, Certifications in Occupational Health or equivalent  
  • Experience in academic medical centers or multi-site healthcare systems

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN or COHN-S)
  • Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (Instructor preferred)
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Support (ACLS) (Instructor preferred)  

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

  • Excellent clinical assessment skills; interpersonal communication skills and written planning and documentation skills. Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications/software.
