MA -$17.00 - $19.13, Hourly

LPN -$21.00- $23.63, Hourly

About this Position

Assists physicians and staff in the delivery of patient care as directed following established methods, procedures and standards. Under minimum supervision, utilizes a systematic approach to patient care incorporating the following: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. May occasionally be requested to float to other Family Medicine clinics to assist in covering patient load.   

Required Qualifications

  • Vocational/Technical

    Certification as Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nursing 

    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • At least six (6) months previous front and back-office experience in a health clinic setting or equivalent experience.

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

  • Current Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse licensure required in the state of OK by an accredited school of nursing/medical assisting.
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid Driver's License 

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

  • Skill in delivery of patient care and procedures -Medication administration
  • Triage experience
  • Direct patient care
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy required
  • Ability to learn new processes, tools, and equipment as required
  • Referral/authorization experience required
