Work Schedule

30 hours per week as determined by manager of hotel operations. Normal hours are from 9 am to 2 pm. Days of the week depend on hotel operation.

About this Position

The Housekeeping Attendant plays an important role in creating a welcoming and comfortable experience for every guest. As part of our hospitality team, this position helps ensure guest rooms and public spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and care.

Responsibilities include cleaning and preparing guest rooms and bathrooms, making beds with fresh linens, vacuuming, dusting and polishing furnishings, and restocking amenities to ensure rooms are guest-ready. Attention to detail is essential, as attendants ensure all surfaces are clean, orderly, and well-presented.

Housekeeping Attendants also maintain fully stocked carts and may assist with the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel lobby and other public areas as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and enjoys contributing to an environment where guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and well cared for.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • 0 to 6 months of relevant experience
  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge: Ability to read MSDS sheets. Must have a solid understanding of proper housekeeping procedures and standards. Strong interpersonal and public relations skills are essential. The ideal candidate is personable, trustworthy, dependable, and flexible with availability. Must also be capable of moving furniture as needed.
