About this Position

Provide financial support and assist the Senior Administrative Support Specialist for Transportation Services, including Motor Pool, Motor Vehicle Service Station, and Parts operations. Help manage administrative responsibilities related to organizing and maintaining vehicle and financial records for the department.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED(degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
    • Financial Assistant I – No experience required
    • Financial Assistant II – One year of related experience.
    • Senior Financial Assistant – Three years of clerical/customer service experience.
  • Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience. 

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
    • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and databases
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Reliable and consistently able to complete tasks accurately and on time
    • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 25 pounds
