Work Schedule

Hiring Range

$50,000 - $55,000

About this Position

GENERAL SUMMARY: 

This position provides support for student assessment efforts at OSU Institute of Technology, including course, program, cocurricular, and institution-wide tracking of data for decision making. Assists with assessment reporting for external agencies, including Oklahoma State Regents and accrediting bodies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Experience with programmatic and/or institutional accreditation process highly preferred.
  • Computer programming/coding knowledge preferred.
  • Demonstrated history of ethical and professional behavior.

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license will be required if performing the functions of the position requires the use of a personal or university vehicle.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to use analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret written policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications, including databases and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities imposed by frequent deadlines, peak workloads, and public/student contact.
  • Ability to make appropriate recommendations based on logical and justifiable reasoning.
  • Strong proficiency in organization and planning.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • High degree of initiative to work independently and also collaborate in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of office technologies including but not limited to: office computers, fax machines, scanners, internet, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Passion for assisting customers and representing the OSUIT and OSU brand with positivity and professionalism.

Communication Skills:

  • Must be proficient in information technology mediums to include word processing, database, spreadsheets, and specialized software packages.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate diplomatically, clearly, and effectively, both verbally and in writing to exchange information, give/receive instructions and respond to inquiries appropriately with all students, faculty, staff and community partners.

  • Master's degree
