About this Position
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The function of the front desk area in the Residential Halls is to serve the needs of the students living in the Hall.
Required Qualifications
Education:
High School diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Proven history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.
Previous experience working with young adults in a helping relationship.
Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
A valid Oklahoma driver’s license is required if performing the functions of the position requires the use of a personal or university vehicle.
Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and make contact with both internal and external constituents.
Must have the physical ability to climb stairs.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively recognize and resolve conflict.
Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with a positive attitude in both oral and written communications.
Excellent listening skills and customer responsiveness are essential, continually incorporating feedback, ideas and requests.
