About this Position

GENERAL SUMMARY: 

The function of the front desk area in the Residential Halls is to serve the needs of the students living in the Hall.

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED required. 

Experience:

  • Proven history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.
  • Previous experience working with young adults in a helping relationship.

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

  • A valid Oklahoma driver’s license is required if performing the functions of the position requires the use of a personal or university vehicle.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and make contact with both internal and external constituents.
  • Must have the physical ability to climb stairs.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively recognize and resolve conflict.

Communication Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with a positive attitude in both oral and written communications.
  • Excellent listening skills and customer responsiveness are essential, continually incorporating feedback, ideas and requests.
