About this Position

This position involves preparing high-quality, professional reports of results for academic program, college, and institutional assessment as well as institutional survey projects. These reports will be presented to faculty members and assessment coordinators of all programs, administrators, staff, and the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, and potentially as part of research reports for regional and national conferences. This responsibility requires excellent organization skills, attention to detail, knowledge of research design, qualitative analysis skills, the ability to communicate effectively, technical writing, and report preparation skills. This position also requires the ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines and leverage strong problem solving and analytical skills in a fast-paced environment. Additional duties include facilitation of the university-wide assessment management system, Nuventive Improvement Platform, and Power BI visualization process management, overseeing the Student Survey of Instruction, managing associated email inboxes, aiding in program outcomes assessment review, survey development, data collection, analysis, and interpretation. This position also requires knowledge and working experience with regional accreditation agencies such as the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and other programmatic accreditation agencies, work with the Academic Program Review (APR) process and other institutional surveys and reporting associated with accreditation. Other duties as assigned. 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's

    Educational Research, Statistics, Measurement, or related field

    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Three years of experience in a related field.

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Able to follow instructions precisely, maintain confidentiality, and uphold ethical standards. Requires strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills. Able to work both collaboratively and independently, and to manage projects through completion. Requires a high level of proficiency with technology and software, including databases, and the secure handling of confidential information. Relevant tools may include the Nuventive Improvement Platform, Qualtrics, QClassroom, Canvas, Banner, SPSS, and advanced Excel. Strong general computer and word‑processing skills are also required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's

    Educational Research, Statistics, Measurement, or related field

  • Three years of experience in a related field

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Skills listed above as well as experience with Nuventive Improvement Platform, Qualtrics, and SPSS, and R software is preferred.
