About this Position

As a Career Services Coordinator with a focus on external relations, you will be at the center of connecting students, alumni and employers in ways that inspire career growth, lifelong engagement and ignite the future of business-minded talent by empowering students to discover their passions, build career-ready skills and connect with life-changing opportunities.  You will build relationships with employers and alumni, opening doors to internships and career opportunities while also providing personalized coaching to Spears Business students to help identify and plan for their professional goals. Collaborating with OSU campus and industry partners, you will coordinate dynamic programs and networking experiences while contributing to a culture of career readiness and success for students within Spears.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's

    Bachelor's degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date.

    • Career Services Coordinator - One year of related experience
    • Career Services Coordinator II - Three years of related experience OR two years of related experience and demonstrated progress toward an applicable advanced degree

    • Career Services Coordinator Sr I - Five years of related experience OR three years of related experience and demonstrated progress toward an applicable advanced degree

    • Career Services Coordinator Sr II - Seven years of related experience OR master’s degree and five years of related experience and demonstrated progress toward an applicable advanced degree 

  • Additional post-secondary education beyond requirements may substitute for years of required experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Corporate or university experience with recruiting and placement. Excellent networking skills required. Must be able to develop and maintain relationships with recruiters, faculty, staff and students.
