As a Career Services Coordinator, you will Ignite the future of business-minded talent by empowering students to discover their passions, while building career‑ready skills, and connecting them with life‑changing opportunities.

In this fast‑paced, people‑focused role, you are the spark that drives student success—delivering energizing  workshops and innovative career‑readiness programs that prepare Spears Business students to shine in a competitive world.

You will foster collaboration across the OSU campus, partner with employers, fuel major recruiting events, and champion the value of a business degree to future students. From one‑on‑one coaching to high‑impact presentations, you will shape confident, career‑ready graduates and build a thriving community where ambition turns into action.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Career Services Coordinator - One year of related experience

  • Career Services Coordinator II - Three years of related experience OR two years of related experience and demonstrated progress toward an applicable advanced degree

  • Career Services Coordinator Sr I - Five years of related experience OR three years of related experience and demonstrated progress toward an applicable advanced degree

  • Career Services Coordinator Sr II - Seven years of related experience OR five years of related experience and demonstrated progress toward an applicable advanced degree

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge: Excellent communications skills. Strong service orientation and ability to multi-task. Ability to work with a diverse group of faculty, staff, students, and the general public. Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new skills and programs as required to meet the needs of Career Services and the Spears School of Business.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's

    Business Administration, College Student Development, Higher Education, Counseling or related degree

  • 3 years related work experience
