Hiring Range

$15.00 - $20.00/hourly

About this Position

The Administrative Support Specialist supports the NSCI Extension and community engagement as well as undergraduate and graduate Dietetic programs. The position is critical for maintaining our accredited dietetic training programs and providing high-quality support for our growing Extension and engagement programs.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
    • Admin Supp Spclt I: High school and 1 year of clerical/customer service experience.

      Admin Supp Spclt II:  High school and 2 years of clerical/customer service experience.

      Admin Supp Spclt Sr: High school and 3 years of clerical/customer service experience.

      Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge: Experience with computer software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Internet, Qualtrics and other Database programs and multi-line telephone.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three years of clerical/customer service experience. Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge: Familiarity with OSU purchasing and travel rules and regulations highly preferred.
