The Spears School of Business is seeking an experienced Administrative Associate to play a vital role in supporting academic leadership, faculty, staff, and students.

This position is essential to the daily operations of the Dean's Office and offers the opportunity to work closely with senior academic leaders while helping create a positive experience for the entire Spears community.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can work independently while building strong relationships across campus. This individual excels at managing multiple projects, coordinating successful events, and delivering outstanding administrative support in a dynamic academic environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • 7 years related professional experience. 

Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Business, related field
  • Three to Five years experience in higher education. Prior experience with Banner Student.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

  • Proficient with Microsoft programs (Excel, Word and Powerpoint).
  • Ability to present a calm, welcoming demeanor to all visitors.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to compose error-free correspondence.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage activities with competing deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement.
