About this Position

Assist the department head with scheduling, reports, communications, and special projects. Take on delegated tasks as needed. Coordinate and organize events. Supervise and train office employees. Prepare, monitor, and process all budget, personnel, payroll, travel, inventory, and vendor/contractor forms. Class and room scheduling. Maintain all department documents.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • 5 years of related experience. Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience
  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge: Proficient with Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Publisher. Troubleshooting knowledge of computers and software a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's
  • At least two years of experience within the OSU payroll and SIS system. At least two years of experience within the OSU payroll and student systems.
  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses: Notary Public can be obtained after hire.
