$50,400 - $69,825

About this Position

Prepare payroll fund transfers for processing in the state system and corresponding entries in Banner. Prepare and review daily, monthly, and annual reports and reconciliations. Process airline billing and entries for distribution of charges in Banner. Audit, review, and approve incoming travel documents. Communicate with departments concerning State laws, University policies on the mechanics of filling out appropriate forms and how to submit the forms for payment. Prepare reports as required by management. Promotional opportunities may be available through established career development plan.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's

    Accounting or related field

    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Univ Acct I - no experience required.

    Univ Acct II - Two years of related experience.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

Practical application of generally accepted accounting principles. Ability to communicate effectively. Use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's

    Accounting or related field

  • 2 years related experience in accounting.

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

Certified Public Accountant
