About this Position

Prepare and review daily, monthly, and annual reports and reconciliations, including analysis of budget, revenues, expenses, and encumbrances. Responsible for various daily, weekly and monthly accounting functions including imprest cash, change funds, interagency deposits, etc. Assist supervisor in performance of duties of that position. Prepare various year-end working papers and schedules. Promotional opportunities may be available through established career development plan.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's

    Accounting or related field

    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • University Accountant I: 0-6 months related experience

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

Practical application of generally accepted accounting principles. Ability to communicate effectively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Accounting or related field
  • Five years of related experience

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

Certified Public Accountant
