About this Position

Assist Park Ranger with enforcement of Park/Lake rules as well as looking out for park and lake patron safety at all times.

Familiarity with Park Rules and Regulations is essential.

This position works in all types of outdoor weather. Extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, hail, are part of working as a Park Ranger. Must be able to handle all weather conditions. 

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • One year of customer service experience. 

  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

    Valid Driver's License.

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Must become certified in standard first aid and CPR within three months of hire date.

    Familiarity with use of cell phones, computers. 

    Good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

    Certification in First Aid and CPR.

    Certified Wilderness training. 

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Minor carpentry, plumbing and general handyman skills would be of great benefit.
