About this Position
The Supplies & Technology Supervisor is responsible for the overall daily operation of the sales floor for the University Store's supplies and technology areas and will provide support to all other daily operations of the department to include processing of inventory, merchandising, customer service and special orders. The position will also supervise the supplies & technology department's part-time student employees. Extended hours may be required during peak times of the year including start of each semester and athletic gamedays. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with extended periods of physical activity is required.
Required Qualifications
High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
Two years experience in a college bookstore or large retail store.
Supervisory experience
Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
Upon hire, completion of Apple SEED (Sales Enablement, Education and Development) trainings will be required quarterly.
Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
Strong computer skills with ability to quickly learn new software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate information concisely, clearly and accurately. Ability to read, interpret and apply written instructions, policies and procedures to daily work. Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset. Strong organizational and time management skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Dependable with strong follow-through and task completion. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to take initiative and problem-solve.

Four years experience in a college bookstore or large retail store with prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
