About this Position

Supervise reception team consisting of five full time employees and several part time student employees. Assist in answering client calls and scheduling appointments as necessary. Requires excellent customer service attitude, and an ability to work under pressure and participate in a team environment. Must maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in handling of client information.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Five years of experience. Post-secondary education may be substituted for years of experience.

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge: Confidentiality is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vocational/Technical
  • Registered Veterinary Technician certification or Veterinary receptionist certification. Five years experience in reception/customer service and three years experience in supervision.

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Ability to multi-task. Be a positive, high energy, enthusiastic person committed to public service. Have excellent telephone and interpersonal skills. Have excellent communication skills in order to interact professionally with all levels of administration. Be self-motivated and well organized. Capable of independent judgment, decision making, and performing with minimal oversight or supervision. MS Office experience.
