About this Position

The Budget and Finance Student Worker will support the Budget and Finance team in various administrative and financial tasks, aiding with budget preparation, and fund reconciliation. This position is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented student seeking hands-on experience in budgeting, finance, and higher education administration. The role will offer valuable exposure to financial processes in a university setting.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with a strong focus on Excel. Experience with Banner. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's
  • Preference for students majoring in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
