The College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT) at Oklahoma State University is seeking a research administrator to perform numerous complex and diverse responsibilities for the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. This position works independently to coordinate sponsored project activity, including preparation of awards, award negotiation, and financial management for all assigned constituents in the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology. A summary of the duties of this position include: prepare, manage and negotiate legally binding grant and contract documents for the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology; provide leadership and authoritative advice to constituents regarding grant and contract requirements; prepare and manage sponsored project budgets and coordinate fiscal related activities; and coordinate electronic research administration related activities.
Four years of experience in sponsored programs administration or another closely related field. Post-secondary education may be substituted for experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat. The ability to adapt to various online proposal submission systems. Self-motivated and capable of managing projects under strict deadlines. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ten years of experience in sponsored programs administration or another closely related field. Post-secondary education may be substituted for experience
Previous experience in research administration in higher education with knowledge of grants and contracts regulations; budget development; technical reporting; proposal submission; etc. Demonstrated abilities with proposal development and grant fiscal and regulatory compliance.
