Hiring Range

$15.50 - $20.50/hourly

About this Position

The Simulation and Skills Lab Technician is responsible for daily simulation lab and skills lab operations, including equipment management, simulation execution, supplies, and technical support. Supports faculty in delivering simulation-based and skills lab education.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Two years of related experience

Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

Foundational knowledge of medical terminology, patient care equipment, and universal precautions.

Proficiency with basic database management and office software.

Experience with or a strong aptitude for learning high-fidelity simulation software platforms (e.g., Laerdal LLEAP, CAE, or Gaumard).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in healthcare, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment, academic lab, or a technical support role.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

Familiarity with clinical placement software (e.g., In Place).
