About this Position
The Research Project Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing the Center’s research and outreach mission, with a focus on energy security policy and economics. Supported by grant funding and in partnership with the Hamm Institute for American Energy, this position works within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality research, engage with private-sector clients, and contribute to the global competitiveness of Oklahoma. The role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across academic, industry, and public sector partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's
Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or related field.
(degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

At least 3 years of experience in policy research, analysis, or related roles.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
- Demonstrated expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D./Ed.D.
PhD in International Energy Security or related field.

At least 5 years of experience in policy research, analysis, or related roles.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Korean and/or Japanese.
- Knowledge of energy markets/security.
- Track record of publications or presentations on public policy issues.
- Leadership experience, including project management and team coordination.
- Ability to teach graduate level courses in global studies and serve on thesis committees.
