The Oklahoma Center for Respiratory and Infectious Diseases (OCRID) at Oklahoma State University (OSU) invites applications for a Research Associate position.
OCRID is a multi-institutional and interdisciplinary research center with administrative offices located in McElroy Hall at OSU (https://ocrid.okstate.edu/). The Center serves as a focal point for advancing respiratory infectious disease research in Oklahoma. OCRID scientists conduct cutting-edge research on respiratory infectious diseases, focusing on influenza virus, respiratory syncytial virus, respiratory bacterial and fungal infections, and, more recently, COVID-19.
OCRID’s interdisciplinary projects encompass a wide range of areas, including therapeutics, vaccines, diagnostics, disease pathogenesis, nutrition, and bioengineering.
The successful candidate will:
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary research team on respiratory and infectious disease projects.
- Coordinate research projects, cores, and activities.
- Prepare progress reports and grant applications.

Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. in biomedical sciences (required).
- Experience in respiratory and infectious diseases research (preferred).
