Hiring Range

$21.12 - $23.50 hourly

About this Position

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join an integrated and innovative academic research department focused on pharmacology and physiology. The successful candidate will participate in industry funded projects aimed at obesity and metabolic disorders. Both in vitro and in vivo approaches will be used. The successful candidate will also receive training in data analysis, manuscript preparation, and other aspects of professional development. Two years of funding have been secured for this position.   

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with Excel, Word, or statistical software programs 
  •  Bachelor's
    • A B.S. in biology, molecular biology, or related discipline and experience in in vitro and/or in vivo techniques
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate interactions with faculty, post-docs, and students

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's
    • M.S. in biology, molecular biology, or related discipline

    • Preferred areas of expertise include familiarity with laboratory practice and safety; familiarity with experimental design

    • Good organizational and analytical skills
