Hiring Range

$52,200.00 - $80,000.00

About this Position

The OSU Community Wellness Program’s Community Prevention, Advocacy, Counseling, and Treatment (COMPACT) Program Manager will guide the day-to-day operation of the COMPACT project. The Program Manager will supervise the Program Coordinator, Program Evaluator and other project staff and volunteers as applicable. The Program Manager will assure efficient and effective progression toward completing program outcomes and grant reporting. Will assure compliance with all required reporting. Attends all required trainings and workshops. Submits all required reports and data through the SPARS system. The Program Manager must be able to work within a team environment and independently. Additionally, Program Manager will serve as the lead contact for all COMPACT partnership agreements and ensure all COMPACT reporting and grant requirements are being met. The Program Manager will demonstrate effectiveness in developing and confirming policies and procedures; supports organizational commitments and goals, completes tasks in line with established budgets and schedules. Maintains complete, accurate, and current records. Submits all required reports in a timely and efficient manner.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's

    Public Health, Social Sciences or related field

    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Four years of related experience.

  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

    Must possess valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Ability to lift 15 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's

    Public Health

  • 2 years of experience in supervisory role and/or community work.

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues, community members, and other vested partners. Knowledge of the Strategic Prevention Framework model. Knowledge of principles, practices, and management of work plan development and grant writing. Skills in management, report writing, as well as oral and written communication. Data collection and interpretation, assessment and evaluation. Ability to complete and maintain accurate records. Ability to assist in the completion and submission of grant applications. Experience implementing Public Health Sexual Health strategies. Lived experience or working experience with substance use and/or HIV/STI's. Experience working with vulnerable populations. Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing techniques, public health environmental prevention strategies, program evaluation, and grant writing.
