About this Position

As a member of the OSU Medicine Pediatrics academic team, the program coordinator plans and coordinates student rotations, ensures credentialing, training, orientation of students at rotation sites, collaborates with clerkship directors and clinical education department to optimize the student and preceptor experience. The program coordinator will also support the residency coordinator in recruitment efforts involving students. The program coordinator will assist with the initial accreditation application to ACGME and manage the day-to-day operations of the fellowship program.  In addition, the program coordinator may also assist the residency program coordinator in various other tasks and projects.

Principle duties and Responsibilities: The following represents the majority of duties performed by this position but are not meant to be inclusive or prevent other duties from being assumed when necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Vocational/Technical

    Two (2) years of college or technical training or equivalent experience.

    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer experience with office-based medicine or in an academic environment.
