About this Position
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN (as-needed) X-ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This position offers flexible scheduling and is ideal for professionals seeking supplemental income or a varied work environment.
Required Qualifications:
Vocational/Technical
Radiologic Technology (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Valid Oklahoma radiologic technologist license.
Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
Perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiographic procedures.
Ensure accurate patient positioning and adherence to radiation safety protocols.
Maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions promptly.
Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health system.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic support.
Provide compassionate care and clear communication to a diverse university population.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
