$16.00 - $18.00, hourly

About this Position

The Patient Service Representative is responsible to perform duties related to checking-in/out patients, scheduling patient appointments, call confirmations, verifying insurance while maintaining accuracy and compliance with departmental policies and State/Federal regulations. 

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

  • Valid Oklahoma Driver License Required

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

Strong Computer Skills (MS Office Suite – specifically with Outlook, Word, Excel), typing and data entry, medical terminology, answer phone, detail-oriented, quality focus, ability to prioritize and work within deadlines, excellent customer service skills, professionalism and interpersonal communication, ability to effectively communicate with patients and all medical staff, ability to work in a team environment, knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and ability to learn new processes as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vocational/Technical
  • Some college or technical school in related field
  • Six months related job experience
  • Experience with EMR system
