About this Position

Assists the department in providing adequate prenatal care and basic gynecologic services. Facilitates the workload of attendings and residents. Provides prenatal assessment and care to low risk individuals. Coordinates prenatal classes and educational support to patients. Participates in births of midwife patients and labor and delivery coverage during residency didactics and other requested times. Accurately utilizes an Electronic Health Record to document patient care.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife Program
    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

  • Current Nurse Practitioner license or Certified Nurse Midwife  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
